Poker Host Review

Do you miss playing against American poker players.  Some players prefer to play against Americans, because they feed off their aggressive style of play.  Poker Host is currently not accepting new online poker players from the United States, but they still have many U.S. online poker players in their poker room.  Poker Host is one of the safest online poker rooms that currently allows U.S. poker players to play, but I would personally not keep a bankroll here, that I could not afford to lose.
    This poker room has plenty of free poker tournaments and promotions for beginner poker players, which is great for attracting players that are just starting to play online.  New players get a head start with the freerolls and the $750 deposit bonus.  Poker Host is the smallest poker room that we have reviewed, but it has grown quite a bit in the last year.  Traffic is mostly at the micro and mid limit Texas Holdem poker tables.  This site is not a great online poker room for the high rollers and those who want to play any game other than Texas Holdem.

Poker Host Promotions

First time depositors will get a 150% deposit bonus up to $750.  The welcome bonus will expire in ninety days or if you make a withdrawal before then.  For every $1 bonus you will need to earn 75 points.  The bonus is released into your account in $5 increments after every 375 points earned.  There is no bonus code needed and the bonus can be earned at the poker tables.

Tournaments and Poker Tables

Poker Host does a good job with the traffic the poker room has.  The poker tables are generally low limit and mid stakes.  The poker tournaments usually have low buy ins and usually show up every ten minutes.  The biggest regular tournament is the $50,000 guarantee on Sundays.  There are also a few satellite tournaments for the WSOP, Aussie Millions and other large live poker events through out the year.
    You can play Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha H/L, 7-Card Stud, 7-Card Stud H/L, Badugi, Razz and more, but for the most part, only the Texas Holdem tables have any meaningful action.
