Jonathan Duhamel

Jothathan is the first Canadian to win the World Series of Poker Main Event.  He took home $8,944,310 for his first place finish on November 9, 2010.  There was 7319 entries to the main event, each putting in $10,000 for an entry fee.  He out lasted all of them by playing great and catching some much needed cards at the right time.
