Isabelle Mercier

She is a member of Team Pokerstars along with another popular Canadian, Daniel Negreanu.  In 2004 she won the WPT Ladies Night tournament and has since won over $700,000.  Her biggest win was the 2006 WSOP event number nine No-Limit Texas Holdem tournament, where she won over $175,000.  She is in the top twenty money makers for woman throughout the world and currently ranked number one for woman poker players living in Canada.
    Isabelle learned to play poker when she was really young.  Before she was a professional poker player, she had earned a law degree.  She actually gave up the chance for an incredible job to take a chance on poker.  Since then she has become Canada's best female poker player and one of the hottest.
