Playing Poker in Manitoba

There isn't too many places to play Texas Holdem in Manitoba.  The Manitoba Lottery Corporation has a virtual monopoly on gambling here.  There used to be some poker clubs throughout the city of Winnipeg, but that was before the police authorities shut them down.  There is a few bars in the city that offer a free poker game on different nights, but there is no prizes to be won . 
    The only place to play live poker in Manitoba is the Club Regent Casino in Winnipeg.  It used to be a sub par poker room that only had four poker tables of Texas Holdem.  The Club Regent poker room has greatly improved with the addition of Omaha, Omaha H/L and more poker tables.  There is also many more poker tables available and better poker tournaments.  Overall, Manitoba has greatly improved their live poker scene since 2008.  You can find the address of both the Manitoba poker rooms down below or check out our maps.
